You need it. I need it. We all need good sleep.

There are so many reasons why we don’t sleep good and why we don’t sleep enough.

This post isn’t about any of those though (or it would be a really long post).

This post is about quickly using these 4 sleep diffuser blends to start sleeping better tonight.

My family absolutely loves using essential oils for sleep support. Not only are essential oils a natural support for good sleep, but they create an amazing atmosphere to help ease the most restless of minds.

Diffuse Oils At Night For All the Peaceful Feels

The obvious benefits of using essential oils for sleep is that they actually help your mind and your body to rest.

By applying relaxing oils such as lavender or copaiba to your feet, back or neck, or by diffusing and inhaling essential oils while you are going to bed, the amazing properties in the oils can help you sleep better.

The other benefit of using these essential oil diffuser blends for sleep is the atmosphere it creates.

For example, if you are like me, your room isn’t always the clean, restful haven that you would like it to be. It’s messy. It’s your office. It’s your storage closet. It’s your toddler’s dumping ground. And it’s can be stressful.

But by turning out the lights and diffusing essential oils, all of that goes away. You don’t feel the mess. You don’t feel the stress of the day or the week. Your mind is free to simply relax and hit the hay.

Try these amazing diffuser blends for sleep tonight 🙂

Get Even More Sleep Support

Diffusing essential oils in your bedroom can work wonders to create a peaceful atmosphere and support better sleep. Use any of these oils to start preparing for a good nights sleep.

Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamot, Valerian, Clary Sage, Frankincense

Lavender is definitely the most popular essential oil to use for sleep.  Rub lavender on the bottom of your feet. You can also rub it together in your hands and then rub on pillows, blankets and sheets.

My husband occasionally uses a sleep mask at night (when I watch TV) which he adds lavender to.

If you shower or take a bath at night, add a few drops of oil. Have your partner give you a massage using fractionated coconut oil and chamomile or lavender.

And of course, essential oils aren’t going to solve all your sleep problems. There are a ton of other factors and things you can do to create better sleep.

The best thing we did was get a better mattress.

You should also avoid using your phone or computer in bed. Avoid screens as much as possible in the hour or 2 leading up to bedtime. Instead, read books, journal, pull out a sketch pad or anything that doesn’t involve Instagram or Facebook.

Make a cup of chamomile tea.

For me, it helps to write down a list of what I want to do the next day. It gets it out of my mind and onto paper so that I don’t have to keep thinking about what I need to do tomorrow and worrying if I got enough done today.

There’s a lot that goes into better sleep. Essential oils definitely help. If you haven’t already, make it a part of your nightly routine. Once you do, there’s no going back 😉

Do you have any blends or oils you love to use at night? Whether they help you sleep or just create an amazing vibe in your room?
